Bunting for any occasion

A long time ago i bought some Katia amigurumi cotton yarn and didn't really know what i wanted to do with it. I had made a couple of amigurumis but for a while it has used  a play toy for my little boy (he loves yarn). As i was looking through the Internet i came across some bunting and thought i have never made it before and wrote a quick and easy pattern for you guys to make.

What you will need
1 pack of katia amigurumi yarn
extra cotton yarn to join your triangles
3 mm crochet hook
scissors
tapestry needle

Abbreviations (US terminology)
ch- chain
st(s)- stitch(s)
sc- single crochet
ss-slip stitch

Each ball should make 3 triangles. For each pack you should have 30 triangles. I made 27 and used 1 ball to join my triangles. When finished the piece should measure apporx. 61inch/1m55.

Triangle
ch2
Row 1: 3 sc into the 1st ch, ch1 and turn. (3)
Row 2: 2sc in to the 1st st, sc in to the next, 2 sc into the last st, ch1 and turn. (5)
Row 3: 1 sc into every st across the row, ch1 and turn. (5)
Row 4: 2sc into the 1st st, sc across until you reach the 2nd to last st, 2 sc in to the last st, ch1 and turn. (7)
Row 5: sc across the row, ch and turn.
Row 6: repeat rows 4 and 5 until you have 21 stitches ending on row 5 do not fasten off.

Edging
sc into the same st as the last do not turn your work. working down the side of you triangle sc to the corner then 2 sc into the corner st, sc up the other side, then 2sc in to the next corner, sc into every st across the top ss into the 1sc made. fasten off and weave in ends.

Joining
Once you have decided the colour pattern for your triangles, ch 10, ss to the first ch, then ch 20, join your 1st triangle in the corner and *sc across the top of the triangle, ch1 and join next triangle. repeat from * to the last triangle is joined, ch30, ss into the 10th ch from the hook. fasten off and weave in ends.

There you go, you have your very own bunting. I will be putting mine in my caravan for my summer holiday 2017.
