Granny all the way

Continuing with the granny theme, i thought we could do some granny work of our own. I have wrote a pattern for you to make your own granny stripe blanket.

You will need

- 2 colours of chunky/bulky yarn, a main colour (mc)and a contrasting colour(cc). I used Rico design basic acrylic chunky yarn, 5 balls of black 3888/012 and 5 balls of dark green 1331/016.
- I9/5mm crochet hook                     Abbreviations
- scissors
- a tapestry needle                   ch: chain          dc: double crochet
- measuring tape                      ss: slip stitch   mc: main colour
                                                     st: stitch          cc: contrast colour

The blanket measures 36.5"x48" (92x120cm)

I am using US terminology. For UK, AUS and Euro replace the double crochet (dc) with treble (tr) and a single crochet (sc) with a double crochet (dc).

You can make your blanket as big as you like your foundation chain should be in multiples of 3.
