Aww look at my lovely bunnies, i made these about 15 months ago. The pattern is wrote by Shona Ojala at amigurumi to go, They would make the cutest Easter gift as she has designed little accessories to go with them too. I have not done any amigurumi for a very long time i think i should think of something to make, but for today we are going to make some Easter hunt baskets.

dk yarn of your choice
4mm hook
scissors
tapestry needle
tape measure
Abbreviations (US terminology)
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
rnd(s): round(s)
st(s): stitch(s)
sc2tog: single crochet 2 together
Ears (make 2)
To start we need to make a ring there are several ways of doing this my preferred is the magic circle/ring, with 6 sc inside. Place a marker in the last stitch made and move up each rnd.
Rnd 1: 2 sc into the 1st st, * 1 sc nto the next, 2 sc in to the next, repeat from * to marker. (9)
Rnd 2: repeat rnd 1. (14)
Rnds 3-5: 1 sc into each st until marker. (14)
Rnds 6: sc2tog into the 1st 2 sts, * 1 sc into the next, 2sctog into the next 2 sts, repeat from * to marker. (9)
Rnds 7-9: 1 sc into every st around until marker ss into the next and fasten off. (9)
Basket

Rnd 5: 2 sc in to the 1st st, *1 sc into the next 4 sts,2 sc into the next, repeat from * to marker. (36)
Rnd 6: 2 sc into the 1st st, *1 sc into the next 5 sts, 2 sc into the next, repeat from * to marker. (42)
Rnd 7: 2 sc into the st st, sc into the next 6 sts, 2 sc into the next, repeat from * to marker. (48)
Rnd 8: 2 sc into the 1st st, 1 sc into the next 7 sts, 2 sc into the next, repeat from * to marker. (54)
Rnd 9: 2 sc into the 1st st, * 1 sc into the next 8 sts, 2 sc into the next, repeat from * to marker. (60)
Rnds 10:(working in the back loops for this rnd only) 1 sc into every st to marker. (60)

Rnds 11-20: 1 sc into every st until marker. (60)
Rnd 12: 1 sc into the next 24 sts, join the ear sc into the next 4 sts, sc into the next 3, joining the next ear sc into the next 4 sts, sc the marker. (60)
Handle
ss into the next 12 sts
ch 40 ss into the 12 st from the marker and turn.
Row 1: sc across, ss to basket, ss into the next st on the basket and turn. (40)
Rows 2-6: repeat row 1, fasten off at the end of row 6 and weave in your ends. (40)
